Michael Simmons

Michael brings 25 years of technology and cybersecurity leadership across iconic consumer and transportation brands. He currently serves as VP of Information Security at Ulta Beauty. Previously, he led cybersecurity and technology operations at Dick’s Sporting Goods and spent six years at Southwest Airlines overseeing enterprise-wide security initiatives and aircraft systems protection. He also served as Chairman of the Aviation ISAC Board, advancing resilience across global aviation. Michael began his career at Brinker International, rising from Chili’s team member to senior technology leader. He is a servant leader committed to team development and innovation. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. He enjoys golf and travel with his wife Sonia.
